Ciara Sarao is a current 1L student at the University of San Diego School of Law. She has particular legal interests in immigration law, intellectual property, and health law. Being a Filipino immigrant herself, she has experienced firsthand the complications that the immigration process has brought to families. Ciara graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and minors in Global Health and Sociology. During her free time she enjoys participating in artistic activities including painting, creative writing, and watching musicals. She also enjoys spending time with her community, whether it be family, friends, or community organizations.
