Ian M. Seruelo


Ian M. Seruelo is an activist and advocate for immigrants and workers. Ian was born and raised in the Philippines, but now lives in San Diego, California. He is an active member of the San Diego Chapter of the Asian Pacific American Labor Alliance (APALA-AFLCIO). He currently serves as a board member of the United Taxi Workers of San Diego (UTWSD) and advisory board of the San Diego Immigrant Rights Consortium (SDIRC). Ian is also an attorney who runs his law firm and practices in immigration law and employment law. His work includes assisting victims of human trafficking, domestic violence, and those who are applying for asylum and other immigration relief. He also works with the Employee Rights Center, the Somali Bantu Association of America, and the Pilipino Workers Center.
