Born in the Philippines and raised in Southeast San Diego, Jermaine Rocacorba is invested in protecting the dignity and livelihood of working families, youth, immigrants, and refugees. Jermaine is dedicated to defending democracy and civil rights with an unshakable commitment to prioritizing power of the people and voices most impacted.

She has worked on housing and tenant protection policies, challenging hypersurveillance in neighborhoods, and advancing anti-recidivism initiatives that value every member of society. With a strong foundation in community engagement, organizational leadership, and policy advocacy, Jermaine approaches her role as a Pag-Asa Law Clinic Board Member and co-founder with great intention. Her experience across local, state, and diplomatic offices has sharpened her ability to navigate political spaces while building meaningful change.

Jermaine is a proud alumna of San Diego State University and Seattle University. She has served as an instructor at the University of Washington, supporting youth pathways to higher education. Professionally, she is currently in the field of philanthropy and strategic partnerships.
